Thomas’ Obituary Town of Wright (Schoharie County): Thomas G. Przysiecki 74, of Zimmer Road, Town of Wright passed away Sunday May 12, 2019 at St. Peters Hospital after a brief illness. Thomas was born February 9, 1945 in Niskayuna, NY a son of William John and Ruth (Shultes) Przysiecki. He graduated from Schoharie High School in 1964 and later from Cornell University where he received his bachelor’s degree.

Tom would begin a long career in agriculture in 1969 when he purchased his first farm on Zimmer Road. He actively operated the Fox Valley Vail Farms, first with dairy, then crops and beef, up until being admitted to the hospital the week before his passing. He was a proud member of the NRA, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Dairyman’s League, Farm Bureau and NY Cattleman’s Association.

Tom enjoyed hunting, shooting, but most of all, working his farm. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn (Dietert) Przysiecki, whom he married July 10, 1971, his son Dan R. Przysiecki (Kelly Jones) of Schoharie, his daughters; Ginelle Przysiecki of Schoharie and Megan Odom (Christopher) of West Henrietta, NY, 4 grandchildren, his brother Barry (Sharon) Przysiecki of Schoharie, his sister, Judy St. Hedley of Albany along with 5 nieces. A small service was held for family and close friends on his property where he was most comfortable.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Thomas to: Rock Road Chapel Food Pantry, 96 Rock Road, Berne, NY 12023. The Langan Funeral Home of Schoharie is assisting the Przysiecki family.
