Mr. Thomas Joseph Scott, age 62, of Boyne City, MI, passed away Monday evening, May 21 at his home after an eighteen-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife of 16 years Patricia Ann (Kulikowski) Scott who was by his side at the time of his death. Tom was born August 10, 1955 in Dearborn, MI.

He grew up in Farmington, MI. with his parents Robert and Margaret (Gillian) Scott. He attended North Farmington High School and graduated from Western Michigan University with a business degree.

His business career included sales and project management in the automotive industry. Tom was an aficionado of rock music and classic movies. He was a collector and dealer of slot cars and firearms specializing in Winchester rifles and Colt 45s.

He was avid downhill skier, enjoyed golf and loved to ride his Harley around the curvy, hilly country roads of northern Michigan. He was a fighter in every since of the word, living one year beyond all medical expectations, a true miracle his healthcare professionals would tell him. His wife Pati, his sister Debbie Yash, two nieces Maggie Yash and Gina Logan and their children, Sebastiano Cherro and Scarlett Logan survived Tom.

His parents Robert and Margaret (Gillian) Scott preceded Tom in death. A celebration of his life will take place this July in Boyne City, MI.
