Thomas Michel David Santillo, age 66, passed away peacefully at Christiana Hospital on June 22, 2018. Thomas was born in Phoenixville, PA on Dec. 6, 1951.

He was a Marine who served during the Vietnam War era and was proud to serve his country. He lived a full and adventurous life. He was a mechanic whom could fix just about anything, cars, motorcycles and airplanes.

He also traveled extensively in his youth going from PA to California and Florida meeting many wonderful people and seeing marvelous places. He then settled in Delaware with his wife and they built antique cars and motorcycles together. Tom enjoyed going to the Harrington Car Show every year and he also loved to go camping, boating, four wheeling, riding motorcycles and hot rod cars.

There will be many in the motorcycle community that will miss him and his talents greatly. His wife and family will miss him even more. He was a very kind man who helped everyone who needed it.

He was the most loving husband any wife could wish for. He was intelligent and talented in the arts of mechanics. We will miss him but he’s gone home to Heaven and is with loved ones who have gone before him.

He is survived by his wife, Wendy Santillo, his daughter, Monique Hails, grandchildren, Tyler Santillo, Cheyenne, Sierra and Neiko Francescon, sister, Sharon Santillo, Brother, Robert Santillo, cousin, William Santillo and a great-grandchild. He will be joining his son, Thomas Santillo who preceded in death and his parents, Thomas and Rita Marie Santillo and his brother, John Santillo. Tom will be missed by all that knew him, but he is now reunited with those who have gone before him.

He is now in the loving arms of Jesus our lord and is in peace in the paradise of Heaven. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, June 27th at 2 PM at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, where friends may call from 1 to 2. Burial will be on Thursday, June 28th at 1 PM at the Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, 352 S. Gulph Rd, King of Prussia, PA.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to help with funeral expenses either to the funeral home or to his wife Wendy.
