Therese A. Drouin of Laure, DE passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Genesis Seaford Center. She was born on August 17, 1929 in Casselman, Ontario, Canada to the late Joseph and Emma Lajeunesse. She was employed by Kroops Boots in Laurel, MD for ten years.

Kroops is renowned for making the boots for Seabiscuit’s jockey. She worked in the kitchen at Bon Secours Spiritual Center in Marriottsville, MD for five years. She also worked for the Westminster Inn in Westminster, MD until her retirement in 1993.

Therese was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sykesville, MD where she was very active in church functions. More recently she was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Seaford, DE. In addition to her parents, Therese was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Maurice Drouin in 2003, a son, Remi Drouin in 1991 and a daughter, Rollande Drouin in 1952.

She is survived by a daughter, Rita Molz (Joe) and grandchildren, Joe Molz (Melissa), Jill Lewis (Tim) and Jamie Molz. She has two great grandchildren, Grayson and Bayleigh. Funeral Services will be private.
