Mary Denise Pizzuto Rementer, age 75, of Seaford, DE passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Born in New Jersey on September 1, 1942 to Anthony and Mary Pizzuto (predeceased) of Georgetown. Mary was the first of five daughters and grew up in Georgetown.

She graduated in 1961 from Georgetown High School. Mary was preceded in death by her son, Michael J. Rementer, who was gone but never forgotten. Mary is survived by her husband of 55 years, Stephen R. Rementer; two sons, Anthony “Tony” Rementer (Denise); Christopher Rementer (Julie), five grandsons, Burton (Heather), Michael, Cody, Gavin and Parker, 4 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Brooke, Charlotte and Korbin, 4 sisters, Antoinette Hamlin (Julian), Catherine Pizzuto, Delores Hembdt, Nancy Buenrostros and many nieces and nephews.

Mary was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Seaford. In her heathier days she did volunteer work at the schools where her grandsons attended and well as volunteered in her church. Mary was a loving devoted wife, mother, mom mom, sister and friend.

She was an excellent cook, a loyal friend to many. She loved life and had a smile for everyone she met. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 5th at 11 AM at Our lady of Lourdes Church, 515 E. Stein Hwy, Seaford, where friends may call from 10 to 11 AM.

Burial will be in Asbury Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, Floor 17, Chicago, Il 60601 or online at www. act.
