Thomas Michael Kenny June 30, 1939 – March 07, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Thomas Michael Kenny of Hicks Lake, near Evart, passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family Wednesday, March 7, 2019. He was 80. Mr. Kenny was born June 30, 1939 in Saginaw to Joseph M. and Anna (Holihan) Kenny.

He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Saginaw where he was schooled and graduated and then went on to earn a Bachelor Degree in Science. Thomas married Carolyn Wachowski on June 24, 1961 in Saginaw and she preceded him in death in 2017. They retired to Hicks Lake from Saginaw in 1995.

He was a Life Member of the Evart Moose Lodge 2452. Thomas was a very loving husband and his family was his life. Mr. Kenny is survived by his daughter Laurie A. Nichols of Evart, his son, Joseph M. Kenny of Evart, five grandchildren, Ryan, Alisha (Jimmy), Zack, Amanda, Brieanna (Ben), and Jacob, three great grandchildren, Dakota, Austin Thomas, and Abygail, and his sister Kathleen (Dick) Baker of Saginaw.

Funeral services honoring the life of Thomas Michael Kenny will be at 1:30pm Tuesday, March 12th at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Evart with Father Joe Fix officiating. Visitation will take place Tuesday 12:30pm until time of services. Mr. Kenny will be laid to rest beside his wife in Cherry Valley Cemetery, Hartwick Twp.
