Thomas R. Pouillon, age 71 of Lake George, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Sparrow Hospital of Lansing. On July 17, 1947, Tom was born the son of Lawrence and Kathryn (Rourke) Pouillon in Owosso, MI. He was united in marriage to Susan Spillane on July, 18, 1970 in Swartz Creek and together the couple enjoyed forty-eight years of marriage.

During his working years, Tom served for thirty years as a production worker for the Fisher Body division of General Motors, having retired in 2000. Just prior to Tom’s retirement, he and Susan had moved to the Lake George area where Tom loved spending time fishing and teaching his grandkids to fish. Tom was also an avid drummer and painter (both skills he taught himself).

In his slightly younger years, he also enjoyed golfing and riding his motorcycle. He was a proud Hospice volunteer, member of the Big Brother organization, and attendee of the St. Cecilia Catholic Church, but those that knew Tom well, knew that he was most proud of his loving family. Tom is survived by his wife Susan and his three children Christina (Micheal) Leasher of St. Johns, Jacqueline (Don) LaFay of Lansing, and Thomas (Danielle) Pouillon II of Grand Ledge.

Tom is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Nichole (Johnny Snyder), Meagan, and Maximus Leasher, Hunter and Hannah Pouillon, and Oliver and Weston Lafay. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Kathryn Pouillon. A funeral mass in honor of Tom will take place on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Cecelia Site of the Our Lady of Hope Parish with Fr.
