“Betty” Anna Elizabeth Weber, age 89 of Lake, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the MidMichigan Medical Center – Midland. Betty was born the daughter of James and Grace (Smith) Costello on January 2, 1930 in Detroit. She was united in marriage to Edward Christian Weber on September 2, 1950 in Dearborn with him predeceasing her on April 25, 2015.

Betty earned an associate’s degree from Schoolcraft College. She and Edward had moved to the Eight Point Lake area of Clare County in 1991 from Livonia and enjoyed travelling, reading and spending time with family. They were members of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Reed City.

Betty is survived by her children Lynne Drexler, Lori Eldridge, Susan (Rick) Curtis and Eric (Deborah) Weber; grandchildren Brenna Eldridge, Zac (Megan) Reilly, Joe Reilly, Scott (Melissa) Drexler and Erin Weber and a great grandchild Callan Drexler. Betty was predeceased by her parents and a brother James Joseph Costello. Cremation has taken place with a memorial service planned for Saturday, February 16, at 1:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Reed City.

Burial will be held in Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Reed City, MI. Arrangements were handled by the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home.
