Obituary for Ronald William Kipp Print Ronald W. Kipp, 80, of Farwell passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 19,2019 Ron was born the son of Robert and Eloise (Malone) Kipp on December 20, 1938 in Grand Rapids. After graduating high school, he joined the Marine Corps and was stationed at 29 Palms in California. After his service, he moved to Farwell with his family where he met the love of his life, Fern Wilson.

Together Ron and Fern owned the Rockwood Lounge for 26 years, raised two boys, and then moved to Florida. Ron enjoyed swimming, telling stories, and spending time with family. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Fern; sons Kevin (Teresa) and Kelly(Autumn), grandchildren Krystal (Michael) Haring, Nicole (Jeron) Bushong, Kendra (Ryan) Kipp, and Cody (Siara) Kipp, and the lights of his life; his great-grandchildren Kylee, Jeffrey, Ava, Logan, Addy, and Hayden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert, and beloved daughter-in-law Bonnie. At Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place and private family services will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice.
