Thomas’ Obituary Thomas T. Smith passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 66 years old. He was born in Perth Amboy and a lifelong resident to the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township.

Mr. Smith was employed as a truck driver for the past 17 years with Nexeo Solutions in Carteret and previously worked in the same capacity for Carbon Express in Jefferson Township. He was predeceased by his parents, Eleanor and Henry Smith. Surviving are his beloved wife of 44 years, Linda Cornacchia Smith; daughters, Melissa McGrath of Concord, NC, Stephanie Smith of Avenel and Lindsay Smith of Woodbridge; sisters, Linda Herrington of Sayreville and Sharon Kantor of Edison; brother, Jeffrey Smith, of Edison; and grandchildren, Brenna and Daniella McGrath and Michael and Ryan Doyle.

Mr. Smith will also be missed by his canine companion, Rocco. Funeral services are private under the direction of Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel, NJ.
