Obituary for Mr. Thomas “Tommy” P. Arrington Thomas “Tommy” P. Arrington, Sr., 79 of Anderson passed away Sunday, October 7th at Madisonville Care Center. A private memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, November 3rd at Anderson Baptist Church. Tommy was born November 2, 1938 in Pampa, Texas to Clifford and Doris (Moody) Arrington.

He attended high school in Madisonville and drove a truck for a living most of his life. He was known for his sense of humor and and his good hearted, fun demeanor. If you didn’t want an honest answer, you’d be better off asking someone else.

Tommy loved fly fishing and enjoyed trips to Colorado to take a break from life and seek solace fishing the scenic rivers of the Rocky mountains. He was a huge John Wayne fan and liked watching old western movies. He took pride in his vegetable garden and was a self-proclaimed great cook.

He never missed a family reunion or an opportunity to catch up when visiting with relatives. He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Vivian and Arthur James, Angela and James Kubacak and Kristina Arrington; son Thomas Arrington, Jr.; brother Philip Arrington; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Arrington was preceded in death by his parents; brother Robert A. Arrington; daughter Scarlett Arrington and son, Leland P. Arrington.
