Thomas W. Tomasic Age 70, passed away Sunday December 9, 2018, surrounded by his family members. Survived by one daughter Christina; three grandchildren Christian, Brenden and Alexis; one sister Judith Hann; two brothers Pete J. (Pat) and Lawrence S. (Donna) Tomasic; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his son John Santorines; parents Peter A. and Mary C. (Marolt) Tomasic; one sister Catherine Tomasic and brother-in-law David Hann.

Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident. Retired from Caterpillar, Golden Nugget in Laughlin, Nevada and Harrahs Casino, Joliet. Veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War.

Thomas was awarded the Purple Heart Medal. Lifetime member of the Cantigny Post #367 V.F.W., Former member of the Moran A.C., Past President of the Ravens Club and member of the KSKJ. The family would like to thank all the staff at The Parc at Joliet and Joliet Area Community Hospice for the wonderful care given to Thomas.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday December 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Interment St. Mary Nativity Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday morning 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
