Thurman’s Obituary LINDSIDE, WV – Thurman Paul Belcher, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at his home in Lindside, WV. Born September 11, 1934, in Maitland, WV, he was the son of the late Garret Edward and Cynthia Louise Belcher. Thurman was a former of employee of B.F. Goodrich in Pickaway, WV, and a member of the Dry Pond Regular Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, George Belcher; one sister, Violet Belcher; and one great grandson, Easton Crook. Survivors include his loving wife, Freda Mae Mann Belcher; four sons, Randy Belcher and wife Cathy of Peterstown, WV, Ricky Belcher and wife Angela of Wikel, WV, Ralph Belcher and wife Katherine, and Kenny Belcher, all of Lindside, WV; two sisters, Frances Barnett and husband Freddy of White Sulphur Springs, WV, and Mary Rose of Hensley, WV; seven grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Rev.

Otuce Huffman officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Memorial Gardens in Lindside, WV. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
