Mr. Tim Kemp, age 52 of Calabash, NC died on July 9, 2018 at his home. Mr. Kemp was born on March 14, 1966 in Ashe County to Loyd Thomas Kemp and Ann Elliott. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Tim was a free spirit who was witty and fun loving. He enjoyed fishing and spending time in the outdoors. He loved cooking and entertaining family and friends.

He also loved his job as supervisor of LM McLamb Construction. Mr. Kemp is survived by: mother, Ann Elliott; brother, Joe Kemp of Brevard; niece, Kaleigh Kemp; nephew, Nash Kemp; also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev.

Russell Hart. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Tim’s name to a charity of the donor’s choice. Words of comfort and remembrance may be viewed or sent to the family through our website at www. ashelawn.com.

Ashelawn Memorial Chapel & Gardens was entrusted with Mr. Kemp’s arrangements.
