Claudene Elizabeth Sutton Zachary, age 84 of Mouth of Wilson, VA died on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Margate Health and Rehab. Mrs. Zachary was born on June 17, 1934 in Alleghany County to Wallace and Dora Dixon Sutton. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thomas Richard Zachary.

Mrs. Zachary is survived by: one son, Charles Richard “Rick” Zachary and wife Dawn of Warrensville; one daughter, Jan Zachary of Piney Creek; one brother, Norman Sutton of Wilkesboro; three grandchildren, Amanda Pugh of Cincinnati, Ohio, Scott Pugh and fiancee Caitlin Miller of Winston Salem, and Rusty Zachary of Warrensville. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held.
