Obituary for Tim (Thomas) Lee Drake Tim (Thomas) Lee Drake, 69, of Madison, WV was born March 28, 1949 in Madison, WV to the late Lawrence (Paul) and Margaret Drake, and went home on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Also preceding him in death was his son, Tim (Thomas) Lee Drake II. Left to cherish his wonderful memories are his wife Ruth Marie Drake; children, Allen Mullins of Madison, WV, Jennifer Tyann Kinard (Darryl) of Bowie, MD and Amanda Greene (Patric) of Bowie, MD; two grandchildren, Savanah and Brielle; three brothers, Lawrence (Marlowe), Jimmy (Sharon), and Donnie; four sisters Nancy, Margret, Gwen, and Donna; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and dear friends.

He was a retired coal miner, a veteran of U.S. Army and a member of Zion Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 17 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Michael Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison with military graveside rites performed by Daniel Boone Post VFW Post 5578 Madison, West Virginia.
