Timothy Dean Gross, 65, of Owyhee County, died of natural causes on November 8, 2018, doing what he loved – working the fields next to “Grossland”. Tim was born February 20, 1953, in Nampa, Idaho, to Paul and Dorothy Gross. He attended Kuna High and graduated in 1971.

After high school he worked at Amalgamated Sugar for a year, and then started Boise State College in the fall of 1972 where he met Carol, the love of his life. Tim and Carol were married in August of 1973, and left for Virginia as Tim began his military service in the Army band. They began their family and he worked at the VA and then later earned his Associates degree in applied science at Boise State University in 1984.

After graduating, he began his career at Micron Technology, and worked there until his retirement at age 50. He was so proud to be able to retire early to take care of his grandchildren while their parents were at work. His many talents included playing music on the piano, trombone, and organ.

He spent many years at Camp Stover as an executive board member of the improvement committee using his talents to help maintain and build new buildings to enrich the lives of all who would come there to worship. When Carol was able to retire, they built their home on 5 acres where he could work the land and grow his harvest. He was a devout Christian, whose faith never waivered, and who would lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Tim is survived by his Wife, Carol Gross, his Children Christina (Dominik) and Tim (Kayla), his grandchildren Maddie, T.C., Khloe, Cami, and Ethan, and his brother Glen (Dorothy), and so many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by parents Paul and Dorothy Gross, brothers Elden and Danny, and sister Beverly. Services will be Saturday, November 17, at 10:00 a.m. at Bowmont Community Church at 7263 2nd Street, Nampa, Idaho, Community Life Center.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Stover or Bowmont Community Church.
