Timothy’s Obituary Timothy J. McGuire, 74, of Crosslake, passed away while surrounded by his family on Monday, February 11, 2019. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11am, March 2nd, 2019 at “The Log Church” in Crosslake. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to the service.

Luncheon to follow. Tim was born January 27, 1945, in St. Paul, MN. Graduated from Hill High School.

Tim married Olga Sich in 1965. The couple made their home in the St. Paul area. He enjoyed a 37-year career with the United States Postal Service, before retiring to the Crosslake area in 1999.

The family enjoyed spending their time together, and often it was outdoors camping, fishing, bonfires or taking trips around the country in an RV. He will be missed for his Irish wit, his heart of gold, and unending desire to help. He is survived by his wife, Olga; children, Tom (Jill) McGuire, Natalie McGuire, and Kevin (Whitney) McGuire, brother, Joe McGuire, twin-brother, Tom (Diane) McGuire, and seven grandchildren, TJ, Kelly, Leah, Lindsey, Ryan, Lukas, and Carly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patricia King; niece, Kathy King; and sister-in-law, Gerri McGuire. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to The Log Church in Crosslake.
