Timothy Joe “Tim” Satterwhite, Sr., 54, of Phenix City, AL passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Timothy was born July 15, 1964 in Columbus, GA to Elmer Guy Satterwhite and Doris Autry Satterwhite. Tim had worked as a truck driver for Douglas Asphalt in Columbus, GA.

He enjoyed East Alabama Motor Speedway and all sorts of dirt track racing, he loved the outdoors, fishing and camping, and enjoyed collecting M&M’s collectables. He had somewhat of a humorous character and was known for the saying “Don’t mess with me, I know people”. His greatest joy was spending quality time and sharing special moments with all his grandchildren.

Tim was preceded in death by a brother, John Satterwhite. Other than his parents, he is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Christina Schlitz Satterwhite, two daughters, Carlee Satterwhite, and Jessica Weaver, and one son, Timothy “TJ” Satterwhite, Jr. and fiancé Kim, one sister, Sheila Alexander and husband Larry, and one brother, Jimmy Satterwhite and wife Tammy, (9) precious grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kaleigh, William, Trey, Austin, Dawson, Cole, Brayden, and Matthew, his beloved pet puppy Mooshoe, and host of extended loving family members and many caring friends. A celebration of life memorial service will be held 3:00 pm EST Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City.

A private interment will take place at a nearer future date by his loving family. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm EST one hour prior to the memorial service on Wednesday at the funeral home in Phenix City.
