Timothy D. “Tim” Neighbors, 60, of Franklinville, NC made his transition into Heaven on Monday October 1st, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. No Services are scheduled at this time Tim was a lifetime resident of Franklinville. He and his brothers were raised on the love of their father and paternal extended family.

Tim’s grandmother and aunt, Martha Hardin, were influential and nurturing ‘mother figures’ throughout his life. Tim graduated from Eastern Randolph High School in 1977. He married the love of his life, Rhonda, in 1986, and the two remained inseparably in love to the very end.

He was a devoted, loving “Daddy” and a silly, playful “Papaw”. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Della Neighbors, brother Russell Neighbors, father-in-law Robert Landreth, and sister Cheryl Holt. He is survived by his wife Rhonda Smith Neighbors of the home; daughter Laurel Neighbors Edwards (Cory); son Nicholas Neighbors; grandchildren Arielle and Luke Edwards; father Randy Neighbors; brother Steve Neighbors; mother-in-law Brenda Landreth; aunt Martha Hardin (Boyd); sister-in-law Dawn Perkins (Robbie); brother-in-law Jeff Hicks (Becky); special family member Addison Ingram; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
