Timothy Weglicki, February 27, 2019. Age 58. Father of Timothy R. Weglicki and Brian T. Weglicki.

Brother of John Weglicki, Meg Stever (Dave). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Tim was the youngest of three children of the late Nancy Weglicki.

He was a graduate of North Catholic High School, Class of ’78, received his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Temple University and earned his master’s degree in Criminal justice from Shippensburg University. Tim worked as a Probation Officer for the City of Philadelphia. Tim always enjoyed a good time and was fun to be with.

He had a passion for soccer from the time he was 6 years old playing in the Juniata Park Soccer League and enjoyed successful soccer careers at North Catholic and Temple University. Whenever there was a soccer game on TV, you could be sure that Tim was watching it. In addition to his love of soccer, he also enjoyed fishing, music and anytime spent with his family and friends.

Tim so loved and was most proud of his sons, Timmy and Brian. Tim touched those he met with his intellect, humor and kindness. He will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to Call on Tuesday, March 5 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 146 Rector St., Philadelphia. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tim’s name to the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, 399 Market St #102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
