Timothy R. Xander, Sr., 60, of Easton, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 in Easton Hospital. Born December 30, 1957 in Hazleton, PA, he was a son of Catherine (Boran) Kostenbader, of Easton, and the late Earl P. Xander. Tim attended Easton Area High School.

He worked for Gordon Bennett Painting. Tim enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and attending car shows. He attended St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Catherine, are a sister, June Smith and her husband Bill of West Easton; three brothers, Dennis Xander and his wife Christine, of Nanticoke, PA, Earl P. Xander III and his wife Lynnette and Brad Kostenbader and his wife Cindy Calabrese, all of Easton; nieces and nephews; and his cat, Tucker. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a son, Timothy R. Xander, Jr., and his step-father, Lester Kostenbader. Services will be held at 6:30pm Wednesday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 602 W. Berwick St., Easton.
