Tommy Ray Walker, 60, of Mooreland, IN, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. He was born in New Castle, IN on August 19th, 1958, to George and Thelma Walker. Tom is survived by his three children, Josh, Victoria, and Lena Walker, and step-child, Stacy Riggs.

He also left behind two brothers and one sister, Tim and Clint Walker and Pam Walker Schmittler. Tom was a truck driver for nearly thirty years after serving, proudly, in the Navy. Outgoing, funny, and caring, Tommy was always up for a good time.

Hunting and fishing were among his favorite pastimes, in addition to camping with his family at Westwood Park. Beloved by those he knew, Tom will be missed dearly. Tom was preceded in death by his girlfriend, Barbara Doak.

Services will be held Friday, May 24th, at 1:00 p.m. at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle, IN with Pastor Dennis Kinser officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion/VFW and United States Navy. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. prior to the service.

He will be cremated and will have a headstone in Mooreland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Tom Walker Funeral Fund, c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, 3406 S. Memorial Dr., New Castle, IN 47362. You may express condolences or share a memory of Tom at www.
