Tommy William Harvey, age 75, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Mountain Ridge Health & Rehab in Black Mountain. A native of McDowell County, born September 7, 1943, he was the son of the late Rass and Molly Morrow Harvey. In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by one sister, Patsy Penland.

An avid outdoorsman, Tommy loved to hunt, watch westerns and chewing tobacco. He is survived by one sister, Brenda “Susie” Knighton (Jerry); two brothers, Wally Harvey (Betty) and Ronnie Harvey; one brother-in-law, Calvin Penland; and a number of nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at McDowell Memorial Park.
