Tony Diaz, son of Amy Borton of Columbus, Ohio and Jose Diaz of Florida passed away unexpectedly at his home in Columbus, Ohio on February 14, 2019. He was born August 2, 1989 in Carson City, Michigan and is survived by his brothers: Marty Allen Borton and John Diaz (Taylor Anderson, SO) of Columbus, Ohio. His nephew, David Garold Powell of Columbus, Ohio.

Aunts: Shawn (Roger) Patton of Vestaburg, Michigan; Lisa (Joel) Harold of Sand Lake, Michigan; Christine (Christopher) Card of Oxford, Michigan. Uncle, Jeff Borton of Stanton, Michigan; Grandmother, Laurie Mosby of Stanton, Michigan; Great Aunt, Sally Clute of Stanton, Michigan; Great Aunt and Uncle, Lewis and Sharon Borton of McBrides, Michigan; Wayne and Linda Borton of Lowell, Michigan; Great Uncle, John Babcock of Louisville, Kentucky; many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Garold Gene Borton of Stanton, Michigan; Mary and Harold Borton; Melvin and Mary Babcock; and Diane Babcock.

He was a hard worker, whether it was working on cars, with his family, at his job or messing with computers. He spent his free time escaping the real world through movies, tv, anime and video games. His smile was contagious.

He was bold, loving and caring, though at times he tried to hide it. He will be sorely missed by his friends and family. Arrangements completed at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory, 2693 West Broad St. Columbus, Ohio.
