OBITUARY Mrs. Treva Yvonne Cook March 16, 1931 – July 11, 2018 Treva Yvonne (Kuykendall) Cook, of Kemp, TX, passed peacefully in her sleep from this life at the age of 87 years, 3 months, and 25 days on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at the home of her caregivers: granddaughter, Jo Thompson, and great-granddaughter, Meli Thompson. Born at home near Forestburg, TX, on March 16, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William and Ida (Barclay) Kuykendall, and the wife of the late Charles H. Cook. She is survived by one sister: Melva Defoor of Aurora, MO; one son: Michael Cook of Roanoke, TX; one daughter: Sabrina Woolard of Kemp, TX; one step-son, Tommy Lowry of Golden Valley, AZ; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Dorothy Kuykendall of Pine Bluff, AR; Leo Cook of Graham, TX; Clyde and Joy (Cook) Buckner of Tulsa, OK; and Robert Reflogal of CO; 8 grandchildren; 20 great grand children; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Lois Rich, Willie Mae Richardson, Jimmie Britain; and two brothers: Eugene and Garland Kuykendall. Treva spent most of her life as a resident of Rosston, TX, and Grand Prairie, TX. She graduated Forestburg High School in 1948.

For years she was a member at the Forestburg and South MacArthur Churches of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and crocheted many afghans for those she loved. She will be missed dearly by those whose lives she has touched.
