Tyrone’s Obituary Tyrone Horton, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the age of 55. He was born October 18, 1963 to Leon and Geneva Horton, and raised in New Orleans, LA. He was educated in the New Orleans Public School System where he graduated from John McDonogh Senior High School and attended Southern University of New Orleans and Delgado Community College where he studied Accounting.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Cecilia Young Horton, his sons: Tyrone Jr. and Joseph (Danyelle) Horton. Step-son Hollis Young, III and Step-daughter Eureka Davidson. Eleven grandchildren: Trinity, Treyvon and Jade Horton, Arion Walker, Hollyaun-jay, Lataya, Hollis IV, and Hassan Young, Eden Barrow, Eddie Hoffman, and Devon Davidson.

Parents: Leon Jr. and Geneva Horton. Siblings: Cynthia Horton Simon, Leon III (Cathy), Earl Sr. (Ashlie) Horton, and Darlene Horton Scott. Two God-Daughters Erinn Horton and Erica Brown, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his grandparents: Nora Lee Horton, Leon Horton Sr., Mitchel Albert and Elmer Pearl Brown, and a sister Troylynn Horton. Family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, for 10:00 A.M. at The Asia Baptist Church, 1400 Sere St., New Orleans, LA 70122. Pastor Earl Horton Sr., officiating.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park, Metairie, LA.
