Tywana Faye “Tweety Bird” Berkley departed this life after a long battle with advanced breast cancer on April 30, 2019. Born April 26, 1958 in Norfolk, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Claudine Ann Berkley. She is survived by her loving children, LaTasha , Brandon, and Kendra.

She is also survived by five grandchildren, Taiquan, Breyonna, Chaniya, Brandon, and Keon. Tywana loved to sew and make beautiful clothing for her children and friends. She also loved her job at MV Transportation of which she was an employee for over 20 years.

In her spare time she loved going to yard sales, the Goodwill and the Salvation Army. Tywana was also a long time, God-fearing Christian who loved being in the company of fellow Christians. Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00pm Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Carlisle Ave.

Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia with Rev. Howard Germany officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that all donations be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation at donate.
