Loughran, Valerie (nee Maurer), of Ballwin, Missouri, was born September 17, 1970, in Kirkwood, Missouri, to Robert and Arlene (nee Cooper) Maurer and entered into rest Sunday, March 24, 2019, in her home at the age of 48 years, 6 months and 7 days. She is preceded in death by her brother, Scott Maurer. She is survived by, her loving husband of 30 years, William (Bill) Loughran, three (3) children, Kelsey, Billy and Bobby, one (1) grandchild, Brian, her parents, Robert and Arlene Maurer, two (2) siblings, Adrienne Palmer and Brent Maurer, many other relatives and numerous friends.

The best way to describe Valerie is she was a butterfly. It didn’t matter who you were or what kind of day you were having Valerie would flutter in and change your mood, your day and your life. She was a vibrant, beautiful, athletic, kind, caring, loving, beloved, trusted, moral, ethical and honest woman.

She has every friend she ever made and was a good friend to each of them. She had a wonderful political and medical mind. Valerie will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Fellowship First Baptist Church, 2735 High Ridge Blvd, High Ridge, Missouri 63049. Service Friday, March 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Fellowship First Baptist Church, 2735 High Ridge Blvd, High Ridge, Missouri 63049, with the interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 6300 Hwy 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Siteman Cancer Center, 660 S. Euclid Ave, Saint Louis, Missouri 63110-1010.
