Anderson Jr., Philip R., of Hillsboro, Missouri was born July 23, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, to Philip and Helen (nee Oconnell) Anderson Sr. and entered into rest, Monday, March 4, 2019 at the age of 79 years, 7 months, and 12 days. He is preceded in death by, his parents. He is survived by, four (4) children, Philip R. (Carrie) Anderson III, Debbie (Denny) Loeffelman, Raymond (Debbie) Dornseif, and Richard (Jennifer) Dornsief, seven (7) grandchildren, four (4) great-grandchildren, two (2) siblings, Ruth (John) McCormick, and Tina (Don) Kracke, and many other family and friends.

Philip was a Vietnam Veteran who was very involved in the High Ridge VFW. He loved reading, was known for socializing and being the nicest man ever. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO, 63125. Memorial donations may be made to the High Ridge VFW, 2220 Gravois Rd B, High Ridge, MO, 63049 or St. Jude Children Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN, 38148.
