Gebert Jr., William E., of Fredericktown, Missouri was born September 22, 1946, in Saint Louis, Missouri, to William and Leona (nee Haefner) Gebert Sr. and entered into rest, Friday, March 1, 2019 at the age of 72 years, 5 months, and 9 days. He is preceded in death by, his parents, and his son, Gary Gebert. He is survived by, Two (2) children, James (Cynthia) Gebert and Michael Gebert, Five (5) grandchildren, Three (3) siblings, Jim Gebert, Jackie Hoffman, and Joann Johnson, and many other family and friends.

William was a Vietnam Veteran who ranked Sergeant First Class. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Cremation services handled by Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy 30, Cedar Hill, MO.

Graveside services will be Friday, March 29, 2019 at 1:30 p.m., at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Gateway Chapter PVA (Paralyzed Veterans of America) 1311 Lindbergh Plaza Center, St. Louis, MO.
