Wenzel, John of Fenton, Missouri was born September 23, 1945, in Denver, Colorado, to Herbert and Pearl (nee Frausto) Wenzel and entered into rest, Friday, May 17, 2019 at Meramec Bluffs at the age of 73 years, 7 months and 24 days. He is preceded in death by, his father, Herbert Wenzel. He is survived by, three (3) children, John (Patti) Wenzel, Jr. of Saint Louis, Missouri, Melissa Wenzel of Dallas, Texas and Matthew (Breara) Wenzel of Fenton, Missouri, eight (8) grandchildren, Christopher (Samantha) Lovellette, Annabelle Wenzel, Savanah Wenzel, Isabella (Sam) Short, Henry Schliebe, Lily Schliebe, Jude Wenzel and Morgan Abney, one (1) great grandchild, Sebastian Lovellette, mother, Pearl (nee Frausto) Sellenriek, one (1) brother, Eddie Wenzel, and many other family and friends.

Mr. John Wenzel was a Union Iron Worker. He was a part of the HOPRA, and a Pioneer Counselor for the Boy Scouts. Mr. John enjoyed swing dancing, race cars, basketball, watching historical movies, listening to Elvis Presley, Tom Jones and Motown music.

He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Local Cedar Hill Cemetery, 8265 Local Hillsboro Road, Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016. Memorial donations may be made to the Boy Scouts.
