Brown, Lavon Marie, of Arnold, Missouri, was born February 2, 1958, in Saint Louis County, Missouri to Floyd Earl and Venita Marie (nee Stockhorst) Brown and entered into rest Sunday, May 12, 2019 at her home at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 10 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Terry Garcia. She is survived by, three (3) children, Jaymie Brown, Jessie Brown and Joshua Brown, six (6) grandchildren, Hunter, Tyler, Josh, Jeremy, Jenna and Cameron, four (4) siblings, Juanita Illig, Mike Illig, Mickie Brown and Gary Brown, along with many other family and friends.

Lavon was a strong independent woman. “One of a kind” is how her children describe her. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything and nothing made her happier then have them all together.

When she was able, Lavon loved to garden and cook. She enjoyed feeding everyone and they enjoyed her cooking. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lavon’s family will be holding a Memorial Service at a future date. Please check back to see the dates and times. In lieu of flowers donations may be made toward funeral expenses to the Brown Family C/O Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016.
