Obituary for Velda Mae Maynard Velda Mae Maynard, 77, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018, in Plano. Funeral: 6:00 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Interment will be held at Potts Family Cemetery in Buffalo Valley, OK.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM prior to the service. Velda has served as the office manager of Grapevine Internal Medicine for over 23 years. She will forever be remembered as a loving Mother and Memaw.

Survivors: Daughter, Shelia Brown and husband Mike; son, Gerald Maynard and wife Toni; grandsons, Chase Corley and Leland Brown; granddaughter, Aja Wiltshire; and a host of brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
