Velma Y. Leong Beloved wife, mother and grandmother entered into rest on July 21, 2018 at the age of 87. She will now be reunited with her loving husband Tom. Born on December 19, 1930 in Sacramento to the late Yan Fong and Hom Shee Fong.

She was a loving mother to Michael (Tammie), Kathy Asai (Bill), Jerry (Carol), Cindy Yee (Ron). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Stacie and Kevin Asai, Trisha and Leslie Leong, Corey, Alanna, Garrett and Bryce Yee. Her passions were chocolate ice cream, DWTS, her iPad, and a good DD from IN-N-OUT. She was happiest with family and friends and enjoyed her time at the YMCA and bowling. She is survived by sisters and brother in-laws: Kim Mar, Gon Chan, Tuey Lowe (Albert), and Mary Yee (Jimmie).

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their families. Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Friday, August 3 from 5-8 p.m. and to the Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, August 4 at 1 p.m. Both will be held at East Lawn Andrews & Greilich, 3939 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Asian Community Center, the Chinese Community Church,or a charity of choice.
