Mrs. Vera Anderson Gray Eddy, 100, of Florence, passed away May 20, 2019. She was a member of Cross Point Church of Christ. Visitation will be Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 12-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.

The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Frank Mills and Clifford Miles officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park. Mrs. Eddy was preceded in death by her husbands; son, John Hines Gray, Jr.; two infant children; parents, Charles and Ora Anderson; four brothers; seven sisters; and daughter-in-law, Patsy Kaye Gray.

She is survived by her son, Charles L. Gray of Florence; grandchildren, Chris and Meredith Gray of Sheffield, Miranda Gray of Washington, D.C., and Donna and Kay Gray of Florence; and great-grandchild, her very darling, Zoë Gray of Sheffield. Active pallbearers will include: Steve Balentine, Mitch Parrish, Chris Gray, Ben Watkins, and Jerry Simmons. Cross Point Ambassadors of Love; Bobby Jones, Sonny Pollock, Leon Frederick, Bill Hubbell, and Don Lockey will serve as honorary pallbearers.
