Vergil Gerold’s Obituary Vergil Gerold Hussey, Jr., 68, of Buna, Texas (formerly of Pineland) passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at Pine Arbor Nursing Home in Silsbee, Texas. Gerold was born October 30, 1950 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Vergil Gerold Hussey, Sr. and Elaine Ritter Hussey. He was a member of the Magnolia Masonic Lodge #495 in Woodville, Texas and worked as a Prison Guard in the State Prison.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Gerold is survived by his sons, John W. Hussey and wife, Tammie, of Lumberton, Texas and Tony Hussey, also of Lumberton; daughters, Jincy Lindsey and husband, John, of Lumberton, Texas and Misty Van Osten and husband, Rob, of Beaumont, Texas; sister, Rhonda Tatom and husband, Jimmy, of Buna, Texas; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Graveside services and Masonic Gravesite Rites will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro.
