Veronica’s Obituary COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 2170 HIGHWAY 88, BRICK, NJ Veronica E. Heagen, age 91, of Lakewood died Wednesday May 8, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Veronica was born in Jersey City, lived in Hudson County, Bergen County, and Toms River before moving to Lakewood in 1984. She was pre-deceased by her husband Robert J. in 1980, her three brothers, John, Sylvester (Buddy), and Robert Feeley, and her sister, Mary Perratt.

Surviving are two sons, Most Rev. William F. Heagen of Lakewood and Robert J. Heagen III of Toms River; her sister, Elizabeth McCann of Jersey City and her sister-in-law, Angela Heagen of Toms River. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren: Lauren Calvanese, Elizabeth Forino, Robert J. Heagen IV and Jennifer Carroll.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday May 13, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at Colonial Funeral Home 2170 Hwy. 88 Brick. A graveside service will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River.
