OBITUARY Vicente G Salazar Jr. December 28, 1930 – July 11, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Vicente G. Salazar Jr., 87, of Corpus Christi passed away on July 11, 2018. He was born on December 28, 1930 in Crestonio, Texas and raised on Chapman Ranch. Vicente worked for Phoenix Steel and retired from Rosehill Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Emma; daughter, Isabel Salazar and grandson, Joshua Abel Salazar. He is survived by his daughter, Irma (Robert) Garza; sons, Abel, Juan (Monica), Jose Luis (Beatrice) and Vicente III Salazar (Thelma); brother, Jose Maria Salazar (Elvia); sister, Olga (Israel) Cantu and Juanita (Ismael) Nino; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Our lady of Pilar Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rosehill Memorial Park. Online condolences may be offered at www.
