Vickie A. La Roche, 67, of East Moline, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, 6601 38th Ave. , Moline.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will follow services. Memorials may be made to her family.

Vickie was born on April 14, 1951 in Red Bluff, CA, the daughter of Melvin and Joan Magnan Hoffman. She married Garry R. La Roche on September 26, 1970 in Peotone, IL. Vickie worked as a sales associate at Von Maur in the Men’s Department for 19 years.

She enjoyed working with flowers, reading, and playing cards and Dominos with her family. Survivors include her husband, Garry La Roche; three children, Ashly (Paul) Brown, Mocksville, NC, Christopher (Jan) La Roche, East Moline, IL, and Ronee (John) Baracani, Cloverdale, IN; three grandchildren, Nicodemus and Raimi La Roche, and Claire Brown; sister, Kristi Hoffman, Blackduck, MN; and seven granddogs. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Maximilian Brown; and brother, Mitchell Hoffman.
