Vickie Caroline Jackson, age 64, of 129 Harris Place, Danville, VA, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Blue Ridge Nursing Home, in Stuart, VA. She was born on April 08, 1954, in Danville, VA, to the late Charles Junior Jackson and Nancy Lucille Land Jackson. Before her retirement, Ms. Jackson worked for the IRS and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her children, Van Kilpatrick (Shelia); Steven Marrero; and David Marrero; granddaughter, Brittany Snead Matthews; great-grandson, Nakota Matthews; great-grandchildren, Joshua Tate and Eli Tate; siblings, Glenn D. Jackson, Ronald Jackson (Diane), Craig Jackson, and Teresa Furr. In addition to her parents, Ms. Jackson was predeceased by her sister, Julie Jackson and one grandchild. A celebration of Ms. Jackson’s life will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Swicegood Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Leath officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of her son, Van Kilpatrick, 129 Harris Place, Danville, VA. Swicegood Funeral Service is respectfully serving the Jackson family.
