Obituary for Binnie Yancey Davis Binnie Yancey Davis, 73, of 1820 Countryside Drive Ringgold, VA, died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County after a brief decline in health. Binnie was born in South Boston, VA a daughter of the late, Robert Benjamin Yancey and Elnora Daniel Puckett, who survives. Binnie worked as a Loan Officer for Peoples Bank and later American National Bank.

She was a member of the Tabernacle. On June 30, 1965, she married, William “Billy” Edward Davis, who passed on, November 2, 2016. Survivors also include a daughter, Charlotte D. Collie, and husband, Chip, of Ringgold; a son, Chris E. Davis, and wife, Linda, of Roxboro, NC; five grandchildren, Eric Collie, Victoria Collie, Chris Abbott, Marie Abbott, Jessica Abbott; two great-grandchildren, Rhianna Taylor, and Hayden Abbott.

Her stepfather, Clyde Puckett, also survives her. In addition to her husband, a sister, Harriett Sanders, predeceased her. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at 2:00 PM from the graveside at Danville Memorial Gardens with the Rev.

Walter Yancey officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence of her daughter, Charlotte Collie, 1284 Ringgold Church Road, Ringgold, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles or to the Ringgold Fire & Rescue.
