Estelle Hundley Hamlett, age 87, of Danville, VA, died on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Piney Forest Health and Rehab. Mrs. Hamlett was born on September 2, 1930, in Draper, NC, a daughter of the late Raymond Hundley and Alice Martin Hundley. She lived in Danville, VA since 1954 and she was a member of State Line Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher.

Mrs. Hamlett was married to Warner H. Hamlett who preceded her in death. Mrs. Hamlett is survived by her children, Bethanie H. Tucker, Doloris H. Kiser, Rhonda Griffin and Timothy Hamlett; grandchildren, Jody Williams, Mark Williams, Joseph Kiser, Ben Kiser, Naomi Banks, Shannon Xiques, Anna Hamlett, Kayla Owen, Ashley Griffin and Brittany Griffin and sixteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Judy H. Williams; and six siblings.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Swicegood Funeral Home with the Reverend Wayne Wallace officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Hamlett Family Cemetery on Holland Road.
