Margie Marie Landrum, age 84, of Danville, VA passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at SOVAH-Danville. Mrs. Landrum was born on September 2, 1933, in Danville VA, a daughter of the late Charlie Easley Powell and Reba Poole Powell. She lived most of her life in Danville where she was employed at Thalhimers in the credit office.

Mrs. Landrum was married to the late William Ellison Landrum, Sr. and was a member of Melville Avenue Baptist Church. Mrs. Landrum in survived by a son, J Landrum (Lydia); daughter, Debra Richardson (Roderick); grandchildren, Trent Landrum (Ashley) and Leah Landrum. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one brother, Jerry Powell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Melville Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Swanson and Dr. Danny Davis officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. At other times, the family will be at the residence of her son, J Landrum, 364 Slaughter Ave. , Danville, VA.
