Obituary for Ron Maness Ronald Lee (Ron) Maness, 65, of 153 Locust Street, Yanceyville, NC died Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in the Durham VA Medical Center after being in declining health for several years. Ron was born on February 23, 1953 in Charlotte, North Carolina a son of the late David Melton Maness and Johnsie Bisaner Maness. He had lived most of his life in Caswell County.

Ron had retired from Century Link where he worked as a service technician. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Ron attended Prospect United Methodist Church.

On May 9, 1981, he married his loving wife, Nancy Jones Maness, who survives of the residence. Ron is also survived by two daughters, Stephanie O’Keefe and husband, Thomas of Nashville, TN and Brianna Lee Maness of Yanceyville, NC, one son, Jesse Hunter Maness and fiancé Whitney of Virginia Beach, VA; one brother John Maness of Charlotte, NC and one sister, Rachel M. Edge and husband, John of Southport, NC, one grandson, Gavin Lee Maness and one granddaughter, Sophia O’Keefe. A Memorial Service for Ron will be conducted on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. from the Prospect United Methodist Church by the Reverend Saig Parks.

Military honors will be presented by the U.S. Army. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and at other times, they will be at the residence, 153 Locust Street, Yanceyville, NC 27379. Wrenn-Yeatts Yanceyville Chapel is respectfully serving the Maness family.
