Obituary for Frances Ingram Sides Frances Ingram Sides, 90, of Danville, VA departed this life on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at her residence after a decline in health for the past five years. Mrs. Sides was born in Franklin, VA on February 27, 1928, a daughter of the late Hugh Henry Ingram and Gennie Lester Ingram. Mrs. Sides retired from Belk-Leggett and was a member of Blairs Baptist Church where she was a long time Sunday School teacher and choir member.

On June 18, 1949, she was married to Billie S. Sides, who passed on May 19, 2017. Survivors include a daughter, Susan S. Echols; two sons, Barry W. Sides (Frances), Gregory L. Sides; four grandchildren, Whitney S. Burnett (Larry), Blake Echols (Nikki), Bryan Sides (Amanda), Seth Echols (Amber); and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, a sister, Edna Ann Riddle, and a brother, Hugh H. Ingram, Jr., and a son-in-law, Bobby Echols predeceased her.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the graveside at Highland Burial Park conducted by the Rev. Rick Lancaster. The family will receive friends at the residence of Barry & Frances Sides, 306 Cathy Drive, on Monday evening from, 5:30-7:30 PM.

We extend a special thanks to the caregivers, Beth Austin Cheryl Hatchett, Eunice Price, and Betty Davis. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers a memorial donation be made to the charity of your choice. Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel is serving the Sides family.
