Vickie Lynn French, 71, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday March 12, 2019 at 11:19 pm in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was an Executive Administrative Assistant and dedicated Vigo County employee for over 41 years. She was born May 14, 1947 in Terre Haute to Adam C. Smith and Ernestine D. (Wilson) Smith.

Vickie is survived by her daughters, Pamela Buchanan (Shane) of Pensacola, FL, Sally Pershing (Chuck) of Terre Haute, and Beverly Ford (Kevin) of Terre Haute; sisters, Carole Hunt (Carl) and Linda Humphrey both of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Felicia Kannmacher (Shane), Hilary Williams, Alison Williams, Maycie Ford, and Tanner Pershing (Naomi); great-grandchildren, Kinley, Harper, Hayden, Scarlett, and Nova and several nieces and nephews. She was a 1965 graduate of Honey Creek high School. A member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and a member of Breden Memorial United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be Friday March 15, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services on Saturday March 16, 2019 at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Paul Myers officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Online condolences may be left at www.
