Beverly Jean Lowe, 80, of Terre Haute passed away Monday March 4, 2019 at 5:55 am in Westminster Village Health and Rehab. She worked many years at Columbia House. She was born May 8, 1938 in New Goshen, IN to Charles Hargrave and Emma (Gould) Hargrave.

Beverly is survived by daughters, Karen Schell (Larry) of Terre Haute and Kelly McNeeley (David) of Indianapolis; step-sons, Kenneth Lowe (Teresa) of Arizona and Charles Cooley (Wanda) of Terre Haute; a brother, Bill Hargrave, Sr. (Sherral); grandchildren, Sonya, Sara, Samantha, Chanel, Austin, Kenny Jr., Allison, and Caitlin; many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Dwight Lowe who died May 30, 2003; sisters, Helen Kaiser and June “Rose” McDowell and brothers, Charles Hargrave, Jr. and George Hargrave. She loved to play bingo and enjoyed other activities at Westminster Village.

Visitation will be Thursday March 7, 2019 from 1:00 until 3:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 3:00 pm in the funeral home with David McNeeley officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery. The family suggests that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to either: Westminster Village or the Alzheimer’s Association.
