Allan Eugene Whitlock was born on October 30, 1939 to Guy Whitlock and Mary (Schommer) Whitlock. After graduating from Honey Creek High School in 1957 he moved to San Diego, California and was employed by General Dynamics Astronautics where he helped build the nose cones for the Atlas missiles. After four years he returned to Terre Haute and began working at Anaconda aluminum, retiring after thirty-nine years.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Nancy (Koll) Whitlock; daughters, Kim Galloway (mike), Kathi Hayworth (Chuckie Morris), Laura Mattox, and Barbara Reynolds (Don); a son, Mark Whitlock (Angie); a sister, Dorothy Peoples; a brother, Dale Whitlock (Karen); sisters-in-law, Judy Bernard and Rosalie Koll; brother-in-law, Joe Sullivan; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews with a special nephew, Richard Bernard. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jimmy Goodman; sisters, Betty Gregory and Maxine Fields; and brothers, Bud, Eddie, Harold, and Kenny. Visitation will be Tuesday May 28, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that for those who desire, memorial contributions mya be made to the Vigo County School Corporation Back Pack Program. Online condolences may be left at www.
