Humlicek, 90 years, of Wann, NE passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Brookstone Meadows, Elkhorn, Nebraska. He was born May 6, 1928 in Abie, NE to Frank and Emma (Schmidt) Humlicek, Sr. Victor grew up in Abie, NE and served in the United States Marines from 1952-1954. He married Nadine Konopik on April 25, 1956 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Schuyler, NE.

They moved to California, then moved to a farm near Omaha, NE. He worked as a welder for Fruehauf Manufacturing in Omaha. Victor and Nadine settled on a farm near Wann, NE.

He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont, the VFW and American Legion, both in Yutan. He is survived by his wife, Nadine; daughters, Theresa (Glenn) Crouse of Mountainair, NM; Angela (Don) Pfeiffer of Beaver Crossing, NE, brothers, George (Rita) Humlicek of New Castle, NE, Rudy (Harriet) Humlicek of Fremont; sister, Bonnie Kadavy of Weston, NE, grandchildren, Kayla (Casey) Miller, Philip Crouse, Andrew Pfeiffer, Michael Pfeiffer, and Daniel Pfeiffer; and many nieces and nephews. Victor was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Frank Jr. and Edward Humlicek.

Funeral Mass 10:30 AM, Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Military Honors. Visitation with family receiving friends on Monday from 5PM-8 PM and a Rosary at 7PM at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will continue Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Private burial will be at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery at Abie, NE. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice. Moser Memorial Chapel, 2170 N Somers Ave.
